Hey there! I’m Brandi — professional baby catcher, full-time ingredient nerd, and accidental soap addict.
My journey into the world of natural products started after a not-so-fun run-in with some commercial hair care that left my hair begging for mercy. That little disaster sent me down the rabbit hole of learning about clean, natural alternatives… and let’s just say I haven’t looked back since. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, I was making my own everything — from shampoo bars to dish soap, body oils to car diffusers, and, of course, soap (glorious, glorious soap).
Crafting has always been my therapy — when life gets wild, I get creative. Finishing a project gives me that hit of dopamine I used to get from Target runs. So, with a whole lot of encouragement from my ride-or-die friends, Soaping Mechanisms was born — part passion project, part coping mechanism, and fully fueled by love (and maybe caffeine).
